A black cotton fabric printed with gold marbling covers the outside of this sturdy book. A frame is hand painted on the cover and decorative ridges up the spine. Five signatures are sewn onto unbleached muslin with a five hole pamphlet stitch and embroidery floss. The pages are made up of vintage book pages, music paper, grid and lined paper, brown craft paper, tea stained papers in different weights, and eco prints. There are a few, minor embellishments added in and crocheted ribbon head and tail bands.

An assortment of papers make up the five signatures, which are sewn onto fabric with a five hole pamphlet stitch and embroidery floss. The papers are drawing paper, vintage book pages, lined paper, watercolored paper, and brown craft paper. There are a few, minor embellishments added in.

There are six pockets/ tuck spots, and one flip out envelope.

Accounting Every Business Man Should Know has been altered to hold three signatures of tea stained paper, eco prints, paper doilies, music paper, lined paper, and vintage book pages. The inside of the front cover has the original end paper. The signatures are sewn onto unbleached muslin with a five hole pamphlet stitch. 

There is an envelope sewn into the last signature.

There are seven tuck spots/ pockets.
